CEREMONY ON THE OCCASION OF THE BEGINNING OF THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2007/2008 AND THE ADMISSION OF THE NEW STUDENTS

 

On Monday (October 1, 2007), State University of Tetova organized a ceremony on the occasion of the beginning of the new academic year 2007/2008 in the. In this ceremony in front of the new students the rector of the State University of Tetova, prof.dr.Sadi Bexheti, Minister of Education and science Mr. Sulejman Rushiti, the representative of the Students’ Union of SUT, Nebahat Ziberi, addressed the attendants.

This event was enriched by the chorus of the SUT with some coral songs. The ceremony began with the intonation of the of the State University of Tetova hymn. On this occasion the rector of the SUT, among other things said :,,I want to express my confidence to the directorship of our University that we are working by the new educational plans and  curricula; that we are completely implementing the European Credit Transfer System and we are completely implementing the Bologna Declaration; compiling  local and international scientific project; we are working on the development of the study programs ,that have been accredited; we are engaging proven academic staff in the field of education and science for the teaching process;  we are committed constantly to hire a highly professional staff; both in teaching process and the administration; we are building new objects and we are improving the university’s infrastructure; we are completing the labs and supplying the classrooms; we are making new contracts of cooperation with other universities from the country and abroad, for exchanging the staff and experiences.

Student, for you we have prepared a book of rules through which your rights are guarantied and also your responsibility. We are realizing all this with a great zeal and responsibility. We hope this approach will always give results in the future.”  

          
The minister of education and science, Mr. Slejman Rushiti addressed to the students and the attendants in this ceremony with words of commendation for the achievements of the State University of Tetova and that he is optimistic for the future of the University.

”The Ministry of Education and Science will continue vigorously to support the State university of Tetova for creation of the values, research-scientific projects and every scientific activity that the University takes “said Minister Rushiti.

The representative of the Students’ Union of SUT, Nebahat Ziberi greeted the attendants and wished all the best for the new academic year to the new students and favorable studies to all students of SUT.

Dear students,

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I greet you and I thank you for your presence in this solemnity, in which the State University of Tetova is making another great step on its activities for the growth of higher education in the Republic of Macedonia, by accepting new generation of students to start academic year 2007/2008.

The beginning of this academic year is one from the moments with a lot of activities but even this we have time to see how we started and what is our next approach and our vision for the future of SUT. This is one of the moments in which we express our vision and our energy for investing in the progress of the higher education in our country. Today is the moment when we feel more responsible to realize more in our responsibilities and to encourage new generations of students for the better, happier future and with perspective.

Managing staff of SUT does everything possible to bring University into the European and world courses of the higher education. This definition keeps SUT vital and as an institution, SUT apply for the modern technology, where students can study in modern and efficient way. These students are in the centre of our attention. They are our important motive, proof of our work, results of our successes. They are our guarantee that in the future University won’t miss new and skilled cadre.

 

Honored colleges professors, dear students,

In this year we have 10 Faculties with 29 studding accredited  programs, 85 directions including all the technical fields, social, exact sciences, food technology etc. In the next year Faculty of Medicine will start to work, which is accredited by the Council of Accreditation.
I can say freely that this year we are starting without any problems and very well organized.

In the end , one more time I express great respect to all who supported our work and our successes without distinction if they were engaged or co-workers in the University. In this event I greet all them who will continue to support University, with hope that in the future we will walk together forward the progress of the University.
