World Champion in swimming had a discourse in front of the students of SUT
October 9th 2007 (Tuesday) – World champion, the winner of many prices in the European and International swimming races, Atina Bojaxhi stayed in the State University of Tetova, where she discoursed in front of the students in the Faculty of Physical Culture in SUT. Rector of SUT, Professor Dr. Sadi Bexheti and Professor Miftar Zyberi appreciated the presence of known sportswoman in the SUT.

Atina Bojaxhi was born in March 13th 1944, in Ohrid. Since she was 11 she broke all the records of the short lines in Macedonia, in free style of swimming and dolphin style. Atina Bojaxhi is first female that could pass by swimming the CANAL of La Mansh (in the September 9th 1969). She is winner of many European and world races, and one of the best marathoners in swimming.

Her best achievement is La Mansh, nearly 50 km distance and she passed it by swimming in time for 13 hours and 20 min. This made her the first female, who passed CANAL of La Mansh. Mrs. Atina told students of Faculty of Physical Culture for interesting moments from her professional career, moments from her awards, for the methodology of preparation - training and she advised students: “You should know that sport builds a healthy personality “. In the discourse were present professors and students from Physical Culture, they discussed specially for the status of athletes and for the benefits that has one athlete in RM.
