THE UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCES OF STUTTGART WITH CONCRETE PROJECTS CONTINUES ITS COLLABORATION WITH THE STATE UNIVERSITY OF TETOVA-9 AND 10 JULY

     9 and 10 July-The delegation of the University of Applied Sciences of Stuttgart, Germany, led by the rector professor M.Stohrer, together with vice-rector of education, professor A. Schneider, professor S.Weber and the representative of HRK(Rectors Conference of Germany) are for a working visitation for many days in the State University of Tetova, to continue the co-operation initiated since 2002,now with a concretization of the co-operation in the field of  construction and architecture, for students and professors of the courses Construction and Architecture within the Faculty of Applied Sciences of SUT.

They were received by the rector of the SUT, Professor Sadi Bexheti, vice-rector of education Agim Vela, vice- rector for external affairs professor Hamit Memeti and the dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences professor Sulejman Meta.

In the meeting held on 9 July (Tuesday) the rector of SUT thanked the rector of the University of Applied Sciences of Stuttgart and expressed gratitude for the continuous support since 2002.Following, the rector M.Stohrer and the vice-rector A. Schneider made two speeches in front of the students of construction with the theme, Construction as people’s defense from the environment “and,, Working behavior of diverse bearing systems. They also informed for the possibility of co-operation in exchanging the students for organizing practical semester in Germany and vice-versa in SUT,and in construction enterprises in the Republic of Macedonia. 

On Wednesday (10 July 2007),in the amphitheater of rectorial of the SUT was organized a workshop and were invited professors, students of construction department and representatives of Constructors association and entrepreneurs, engineers and architects from Western  Macedonia.

The rector of  theUniver4sity of Applied Sciences of Stuttgart professor M.Stohrer  informed the attendants about the achieved co-operation  and initiated the establishing of a Forum or a Council compound of members from SUT ,UAS of Stuttgart and representatives from Constructor’s Association, and the goal would be mutual cooperation between the three subjects for creating the conditions for holding the practical semester for the students of construction and architects department, exchanging the experiences among UAS of Stuttgart and German construction enterprises on one side and SUT and Macedonian construction enterprises. There is also  foreseen the  organization of summer School 2008 in Struga WITH PARTICIPATING students from the hole region , professors from SUT, professors from UAS of Stuttgart and entrepreneurs from Germany and Macedonia.

From this kind of cooperation will benefit both students and the University and also the enterprises, for as much as they would have the possibility to choose the best students that means the coming engineers said the rector of UAS of Stuttgart professor Martin Stohrer.
