Solemn opening of the International Seminar of Albanalogy in the SUT

Today in the rectory’s amphitheater of SUT was held the solemn opening of the First International Seminar of Albanology. In this great manifestation were present the Prime-minister of RM, Mr. Nikolla Gruevski, vice-presidents of the Government, Ymer Aliu and Zhivko Jankulovski, Minister of Education and Science, Mr. Sulejman Rushiti, Minister of Culture, Mr. Arifikmet Xhemaili, academic Rexhep Qosja, president of DPA, Mr. Menduh Thaci, Preseident of PDP, Mr. Abdylhadi Vejseli and other eminent names of the Albanian Literature, journalists etc.

Rector of SUT, professor. dr. Sadi Bexheti made the solemn opening and he expressed that this meeting of the scientists, albanologists from the country and abroad is made by the State University of Tetova and we believe that it will be traditional. 

This seminar is working under the patronage of Prime-minister of Macedonia and the government with its ministers. This proves that in this place there is place for knowledge and culture in spite of the nationalities and we know that knowledge and culture are universal goods and it belongs to all the nationalities. Speech in this seminar had Prime-minister of RM, Mr. Nikolla Gruevski, Minister of Education and Science, Mr. Sulejman Rushiti, Minister of Culture, Mr. Arifikmet Xhemaili, Manager of the seminar professor Dr. Qemal Murati, vice-rector of Uniiversity of Tirana and the author of “Nobelists (Nobel price winners)  of the Literature” , Mr. Avni Spahiu. This book is foreseen under the edition of the Seminar.

The activity  Albanologic Seminar that is organized for the first time in Tetova, is a result of  co-operation  in the domain of scientific research between the Universities of  Tetova, Tirana, and Prishtina ,where will be unfolded results ,thesis ,viewpoints and study methodologies in some domains of albanological studies.

Seminar will be held in Ohrid from 17 until 23 September, in the Congress Center of the University “Saint Kirili and Methody”.

In this Seminar will take part specialists in the different fields of albanology, literature, history and ethnoculture. In the Seminar except the lectures will be held also different activities : book promotions, courses of Albanian language for the foreigners etc.
