Promotion of this year’s prizewinner of the Festival ,,Ditët e Naimit” in State University of Tetova

On Friday(October 19, 2007) in the amphitheatre of the state University of Tetova, in the second day of the Festival of poetry ,,Ditet e Naimit”, was presented this year’s prizewinner, the Danish poet Peter Poulsen, appended with previous winners of this prestigious prize, like Ismail Kadare, Tomas Tidho, Desmond Egam and Marlio Argneta.

The manifestation for promotion of the prizewinner was opened by the vice rector of science doc. Dr.Agim Shabani, who on behalf of the Rector of SUT made an occasion speech, where among other things said that such an occasion encourages intellectual and composition activity, notably the perspective and better future for the next generations.

,,The poet, our friend Peter Poulsen, in the name of our managing staff, professors and students of SUT, congratulate him for receiving of this important literature prize”-said the vice rector on behalf of the directory of the University.

The president of the jury for sharing the prize, prof. Dr. Isa Shema, for the winner of the prize,Peter Poulsen said: he is a distinguished writer of Danish literature, affirmed as a poet, prose writer, essayist and literature translator, is treating every kinds of motives.
He is the man confronted with life difficulties.

He is called the writer of compassion”. Peter poulsen was grateful for the prize, and for this occasion intoned a poetry from his book. The festival ,,Ditet e Naimit”, was attended by visitors from twenty different countries, South America, Europe and the Balkans with over fifty poets and authors.
