Representatives of Islamic Bank for Development in SUT

In Monday (November 19th 2007) in State University of Tetova stayed high representatives of Islamic Bank for development under the directorate of Manager for Eastern Europe, Dr. Ali M.H. Alzawawi. They were welcomed by rector of SUT, Professor Dr. Sadi Bexheti, vice-rector for Science, doc. Dr. Agim Shabani, and supervisor of studding program –Infirmary, Professor Dr. Nexhbedin Karemani and also Manager of Medicinal Centre in Tetova, Mr. Hasan Luma.

Rector of SUT thanked the representatives of Islamic Bank for their visit and their willingness to cooperate. He informed them about the history of University, for the last changes in University, accreditation of faculties, especially for the studding programs, number of students studding in SUT and for the activities which are foreseen in the next period. Dr. Ali M.H. Alzawawi informed about the history of Islamic Bank, for the activities which are generally concentrated on three aspects: educational, humanitarian and health.

Most of the educational projects have to do with preparation of cadre in technical profiles. Islamic Bank helps also with grants, projects for building objects, helping by giving credit without usury and by paying it in longer duration than it is usually. Islamic Bank helped organization and institutions in 176 countries.  Islamic Bank was established in 1976 to help member countries and Islamic minorities in other countries.
