`THE WEEK OF CULTURE ORGANIZED BY STATE UNIVERSITY OF TETOVA, MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND SCIENCE AND MINISTRY OF CULTURE

On Monday, 19 November 2007, in the rectory of SUT was held a press conference on the occasion of presentation of the programme “Week of Culture”, ant it was held by the President  of the Organizational Council, Dr. Fejzulla Shabani and Dr. Vebi Xhemaili. The President of the Organizational council of these activities  said that these cultural activities will start with the solemn opening of the Institute of Cultural Heritage and will end with the manifestation of Independence of Albania.

The beginning of the activities of the Institute of cultural and spiritual heritage of Albanians ”Pjeter Bogdani” and the anniversary of  Congress of Manastir and a two day manifestation on the occasion of the Independence of Albania, will comprise main events of this month that will contain some particular organizations  organized by the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Culture and State University of Tetova- Department of History. The solemn opening of the Institute will be held on November 22, at 12 o’clock, meanwhile on 26 and 27 November will be held a scientific tribune dedicated to 95th anniversary, with guests from Albania, Kosova and Macedonia and already have confirmed their presence.

On the occasion of the solemn opening of the Institute “Pjeter Bogdani”, on November 22nd , will be held a scientific tribune and other activities that will comprise the pillars of funding this important scientific and cultural institution for the albanians of Macedonia. These activities are based on the financial support provided by the Ministry of Education and Science and the Ministry of Culture. Also will be an Scientific academy on the occasion of Congress of the Albanian alphabet, where will be present the Minister of Education and Science Sulejman Rushiti and the Rector of SUT, Prof. Dr. Sadi Bexheti, and both will have greeting word. In the evening it is planned to be held a manifestation in the Theatre of Nationalities in Skopje.
In these two cultural and scientific manifestations that have to deal with important dates of Albanian history, will participate eminent personalities of historiography and Albanian language.
