Albanian seminary is testifying the promotion of SUT

In the series of University discussion which are organized every week in the university’s amphitheater in cooperation with state TV of Macedonia, in 19 April 2007 (Thursday) guests in the Albanian program were invited from all over the Albanian countries : Qemal Murati, Floresha Dado, Shezai Rrokaj, Imri Badallaj dhe Enver Mehmeti and they were facing with other group of professors represented from Dervish Halimi, Zeqir Kadriu, Luljeta Isaku, Vebi Bexheti, rector of SUT Sadi Bexheti, Fatmira Celiku  and Selajdin Saliu. The subject of discussion was usage of Albanian language and organizing summer seminary which will be held for the first time in the university.

Professor Qemal Murati said that consolidation of governmental cadre made that university to work vigorously and among others resulted with Albanian seminary, which will be held in the SUT. In the university are also foreseen sessions for Albanian language, scientific seminaries.

Rector of University of Tirana, Shezai Rrokaj said that seminaries like this will be organized also in Prishtina and Tirana, and all the foreigners will have the chance to learn something about Albanian language. Rrokaj said “in our conversation with rector of SUT, Sadi Bexheti, we thought to make a seminar different from the first two, a seminar for Albanian language inside Albanian borders and we can see that how much good we can speak and write this language. This will be good chance for tetovars. Later on we are planning for another scientific session “

Rector of State University of Tetova, Sadi Bexheti said that it’s important that university passed lot of crisis until got official. Until now has been realized lot of seminaries out institutional. He underlined that is the first time for the university to organize a seminar like this.

Professor Imri Badallaj, said that seminar in Prishtina has 35 year old tradition and to realize one seminar we work all the year.  This initiative of SUT is perfect.

Vebi Bexheti said that in 1972 he was a student and Albanian language they were learning from professors which took part in the orthography congress. In this direction Albania had a priority because institutions there speak Albanian since 1912. We have to mention that the opening of two universities in Tetova gave very good results.

Floresha Dado about the seminar said that we have to greet this initiative of the rector and the university if we compare the two periods of the SUT. First one was before the legalization when Albanians were trying by all means to win their university in Albanian language and now the period of all the success with purpose to achieve European universities.

Proffesor Zeqir Kdriu, said that for Albanians in Macedonia it is very important to have their own institution where they can care and cultivate Albanian language. For opening an institution they have now governmental support.
According to Enver Mehmeti, standards of Albanian language out of country were weak because there was missing national school, except in motherland where they had this long time ago.
