Delegacy from Medicinal University of Graze-Austria and its Rector, Professor Dr. Gerhard Franz Walter are in SUT
In Tuesday (26 June 2007), a delegacy from Medicinal University of Graze, leaded by Rector of this University, Professor Dr. Gerhard Franz Walter and vice-rector for Education professor. dr Gilbert Reibnegger were welcomed by the Rector of State University of Tetova, professor dr Sadi Bexheti, vice-rector for Education professor. dr Agim Vela and vice-rector for relation with out countries professor. Dr. Hamit Mehmeti, where they discussed for the co-operation between these two universities, specially for Faculty of Medicine, which will start working in the academic year 2008/2009.

University of Graze will offer the support in the field of compilation the studding plan-programs in the Faculty of Medicine of SUT, will enable the cadre of SUT to have their specializations in Austria, will enable the students in the Faculty of Medicine of SUT to continue their studies in Medicinal University of Graze, after the third year of their studies, and also will offer support to fulfill the cadre and required conditions for the progress of educative process in the Faculty of Medicine in the SUT.

In the hall of Rectorat they had meeting and they discussed about plan-programs of Medicine Faculty and for the co-operation between these two universities. Rector of SUT, professor dr. Sadi Bexheti thanked the Rector and the vice-rector of Medicinal University of Graze for their help and support concerning the preparation of the establishment of Medicine Faculty and University Clinic Centre.

Rector of the Medicinal University, Professor Dr. Gerhard Franz Walter informed us about the structure of organization, for the organization of studding process through the modules. Every module last 5 weeks and within 1 semester there are 5 modules. Modules include few subjects dependent with each other and integrated in one module. One module includes discourse, practice work and seminars.

During the all studies there are 25 obligate modules and 5 chosen modules which belongs the field of specialization, depending from student where he is orientated. For the sixth year are foreseen parts from clinic practice with 10 weeks of researching, 10 weeks of medicinal practice, 10 weeks of general practice.
He informed also about the programs of magistracy and doctorate, which are orientated towards the subjects and not like in the old system, orientated towards disciplines. After this meeting Rector of the Graze University, professor. dr. Gerhard Franz Walter had a speech in front of the students of infirmary. He discoursed about the history, organization and function of the Medicinal University of Graze, and he informed students for the programs that this University has, for exchanging students and professors.

Present in this discourse were also the rector of SUT and vice-rectors. In the end there was also a conference for journalists where professor dr. Walter and professor dr. Agim Vela informed the journalists for the visit and for the subjects that they discussed.
After this, the Delegacy continued for the Medicinal Center of Tetova where there they met the directory of this institution. University of Graze in Austria was founded in year 1585 and is one of the oldest universities in the middle Europe. Studies in the field of medicine started in the year 1863 when the faculty of medicine was founded, in 1912 was opened the University Hospital, which was the biggest and the most modern hospital in Europe, and in 2004 was founded Medicinal University in Graze.
This University has 14 institutions, 23 clinic departments with 45 divisions and 6 departments for the operations, 760 professors and regular scientists and 130 co-workes.
