Solemn Opening of the FOURTH SCHOOL

In Monday  (23 July 2007), in Struga, in the hotel “ Black Drini” was the solemn opening of the FOURTH SCHOOL, organized under the activities of the network of cooperation :Science and Technology of Materials”, helped by DAAD of Germany with their members: State University of Tetova, Technical  University Bergakademie Freiberg, University of Prishtina, Polytechnic University of Tirana, Technical University of Vlora, University of Elbasan, University of Tirana and  LVQ Mulheim an der Ruhr (an enterprise accredited on European dimensions for experiments and control of the materials with and without destruction).  

With the closed cooperation from State University of Tetova was organized Summer School 2007 in Struga with title: “The creation of microstructure in metallic materials”. The organization was from the date 23 July until 03.august 2007.
Lecturers in this summer school were professors from Technical University Bergakademie Freiberg, Polytechnic University of Tirana, University of Tirana, University of Elbasan, and State University of Tetova as: Professor Dr. Eva Cyrener, Professor Dr. Teuta Dilo, Professor Dr. Dervish Elezi, Professor Adhurim Hoxha, Prof.Dr. Peter Klimanek, professor. Dr. Emil Lamani, professor.Dr Heinrich Oettel etc.

Present in this manifestation were also the minister of Culture in the RM, Mr. Arifikmet Xhemaili, prefect of Struga, Mr. Ramiz Merko, Agim Shabani,the vice-rector of science in SUT ,professor Hamit Memeti vice-rector for external affairs of SUT , students from Albania, Kosova and Macedonia.
Professor Hamit Memeti, vice-rector for external affairs of SUT made the solemn opening where he thanked German professors, other professors and the SUT Rector, Professor Dr. Sadi Bexheti for the great contribution they gave to realize this project. Vice-rector also informed that project will last until 3 august and in the end of the summer school the candidates will get the certificate after they pass the exams.

Professor. Dr Heinrich Oettel from Technical University Bergakademie Freiberg expressed that this project is trying to make the three countries for consolidated lesson; Macedonia, Albania and Kosova. According to him they Struga isn’t chosen here by chance, but Macedonia in the world is known through this beautiful city. German professor especially thanked SUT for the contribution in the realization of this project. Prefect of Struga, Mr. Ramiz Merko thanked SUT for the foundation of the Ecology Institution in Struga and like this changing Struga into University City. Present students also thanked the workers of this project for the connection and education of the youth from these three countries.
