Chancellors from USAID stayed in SUT

In Thursday October 25th 2007, State University of Tetova was visited from Chancellors of USAID with their leader Mr. Mohammad Latif, responsible for Europe and Asia.  The aim of the visit was to be informed about the condition of studding in SUT, for the faculties of SUT, for high education in Macedonia, representation of different ethnic groups and other things about the function of State University of Tetova and High Education in general.

Mr. Latifi expressed “Education is challenge of the time not only for Macedonia but for the entire region”. He also was interested for representation of students with different religions and cooperation between the communities in the higher education and their incorporation in the social life.

Rector of SUT, Professor Dr. Sadi Bexheti informed widely about the situation in SUT, accreditation of new faculties of SUT, for the studding programs, projects in continuation and those projects planed for the future.

He was grateful for the visit of representatives from USAID and thankful for the support from American Government not only for SUT but generally for the higher education in the country. Representatives of USAID visited also Faculty of Philology, studding program of English language, faculty of Arts where they had contact with students of SUT.
