Scientific conference on the occasion of 95th anniversary of Albanian state independence

Following the manifestations of “Week of culture”, on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the Albanian state independence, in the State University of Tetova has been organized Scientific conference. The conference was declared open by the Rector of SUT, Prof. Dr. Sadi Bexheti, while a greeting speech held also the Minister of Education and Science, Sulejman Rushiti.

The Rector of SUT, Prof. Dr. Sadi Bexheti said this activity that comes off is part of many activities organized in this year, and was supported by the Ministry of Education and science and the Ministry of Culture, for celebration of our national holidays, the Day of the Albanian alphabet and the Independence day.

According to its headman, SUT is the main pillar that is committed to organize these important anniversaries, including the organization of this academy that ends tomorrow with a solemn academy for the 95th anniversary of independence. “This anniversary, our University is expecting with many results of its work and activities, with faculties and tens of new accredited study programmes, with the suite of university architecture, with the framing of our University in new educational processes for qualitative learning, in a European level such as Bologna process and European Credit Transfer System etc.”, said  Rector Bexheti. He confirmed that with the support of two ministries mentioned above and the Government of Macedonia in general, we hope that we will realize other projects successfully, planned according to the short term and long term plan for the development of the SUT.  

 Minister of Education and Science, Sulejman Rushiti spoke for the importance that the declaration of Albanian state independence has, proclaimed 95 years ago, stressing the continuity of historical events to nowadays.” Our ancestors confronted the challenge of that time, they organized and proclaimed the independence, while today we have other challenges and many other holidays, scientific academies and anniversaries, we organize them in institutions, we open new institutions because today times have changed” said Minister Rushiti. According to him, the concept of freedom is not just a concept of physical freedom, but is a concept based on knowledge. Wishing a successful work to the scientific conference, Rushiti promised the support of ministry that he is in charge of and for many other organizations and manifestations. On the first day of this scientific conference, with messages came many scholars and historians from the country and abroad. With their works also presented themselves Uran Butka, Fejzulla Shabani, Xheladin Shala, Luljeta Isaku, Daut Bislimi, Reshat Nexhipi, Vebi Xhemaili and other scholars.
