The benefits of experience from university knowledge outside country

 

In the continuing series “University discussion “ which was in Thursday in the rectory’s amphitheater in cooperation with Macedonian state TV, program in Albanian language as subject was the experience of professors from European university centers and relations between professor-student.

The guests in this university discussion were professors: Agni Dika, Agim Vinca, Doruntina Bexheti, Izer Maksuti dhe Bardhyl Selimi, They studied out of country and now they are professors in the SUT.

Prof. Dr. Agni Dika from computer science said that he works as a professor for a long time and his experience is big, while his movements in different areas during this period were necessary. He points out that cadre in computer science are missing in Albanian places and in the entire region. According to him there have been positive changes in this science and that cadres in the university are good, with work they can enforce more their positions.

Doruntina Bexheti, professor in SUT and now she is continuing her doctorate studies in London. She brought us here her British experience and she underlined that there’s lot of comparable distinctions in and out of our country. According to Doruntina Bexheti in London is much easier for a student to consult with his professor for different matters than its here. She informed us that studying in England is very much rigorous from the fact that a student has right to have an exam only two times in year otherwise student will the year. In England student can’t complain if he is not satisfied with his mark.

Prof. Dr. Agim Vinca, professor of Albanian language and literature said that with his 35 year of experience in this field is able to make some distinctions for studies before and now. He pointed out the difficulties during the studies in the past decades and now when the communications are easier, circulations is free and fast. This enables professors to work in far places, which in fact give an opportunity that one institution to have its eminent professors.

Izer Maksuti has graduated in Vienna, he said that he did invest a lot for his studies and he asked that in Macedonia to be created sufficient conditions for work and to follow up the experience from outside country. He is engaged in a co-operation between German universities and universities in the country in order to make the quality of giving lessons higher.

Graduated professor of architecture in Vienna Bardhyl Selimi, said that he was motivated from Rector Bexheti to come in Tetova and work as a professor.  He is seeing here that this institution is trying to get higher as European level and he believes that this can be done with work.
